About Anne Hayes

Anne Hayes began writing and illustrating Farmer Flo books in 2018.

Anne enjoyed her children’s primary years at school as she could help with their education. She gained a degree in education studies in her early fifties hoping to become a primary school teacher. Family responsibilities and commitments took priority and she was unable to give it the time it required so had to give up on her dream.

She has fulfilled her need to educate children through her books and has enjoyed the journey. It has only been possible through the help and support of her two very patient children Amy and Joe.

Never lose sight of your dreams and ambitions. Sometimes they become something even greater than you could ever have imagined.
